The HelpCare Clinic will host the 2024 Holiday Home Tour on December 6th and 7th.
The Kearney Holiday Home Tour, a fundraising event for HelpCare Clinic, is an event designed to celebrate the beauty of the holiday season.
Friday night reception tickets are ONLY available using the link below or at the HelpCare Clinic.
Tickets include $5 per ticket processing fee when purchasing through this website. You may purchase tickets for $50.00 Friday (cash or check) at HelpCare clinic, $25.00 Saturday (cash or check) at the following locations.

This spectacular Platte River Retreat is truly a one-of-a kind property! The 5,000 square foot home was built in 1998 by Bill Hines Construction. 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms give ample room for visiting family. Their decorating style is simple…whatever they like! The primary bedroom closet was designed by a good friend of Lori’s, Gay Longfellow, and the chaise lounge was once in Norris’ family barn having been restored by Lori’s sister and Norris. In the family room are “Stations of the Cross” purchased at a KCHS GOLD auction. One of the upstairs bedrooms was painted by their daughter, Amber, using a Dragon and Dungeon theme. Christmas décor is mainly traditional with a Blair Witch Tree and a nutcracker collection in the kitchen.
Marshall's 4,000 SQ. FT. Barn
Also included on the Holiday Home Tour is the Marshall’s 4,000 square foot barn. Built in 2023 by Chief Construction, this barn was created as a space to entertain family and friends and as a tribute to Lori’s parents, who gifted their original family barn from the early 1900’s, to Lori. The wood and numerous mementos from the original barn were used in the construction of the new barn. With a seating capacity of 200 people, the barn has 3 bathrooms and an industrial kitchen, which was designed after the kitchen at St. James Catholic Church, where Lori volunteers. It allows for ease of entertaining or to have events catered. A handicap bathroom features the original 1930’s cast iron sink from the family farmhouse. A custom-made vanity with a petrified wood sink and a window shade made from an original family barn photo adorn another bathroom. The Christmas décor features stocking holders with their children’s last names on the massive floor to ceiling fireplace, a 15’ tree and hand painted ornaments. The Roger’s home was built in 2014 with retirement and easy care going into the planning process. The home was built by Chris Holtz-Holtz Construction. This 2,400 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms boasts a large Great Room with corner fireplace and beautiful lake views. Bead board was used in the kitchen and there are many cabinets for ample storage. An antique washstand belonging to their Great-Grandpa is the main feature in the guest bathroom. The traditional Christmas décor incorporates family heirlooms and items collected throughout the years. Shades of green, beige and taupe give the home a peaceful and tranquil feel. Decorating assistance was provided by Rustic Patch.

This beautiful 3,500 square foot home in South Kearney was built in 2021 by Moore O’Connor Construction. It is a ranch style home with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The spacious, open floor plan with high ceilings has a spectacular view of Yanney Heritage Park through the very generous picture window. A large island is the centerpiece of the kitchen. The primary suite has a large bathroom with freestanding bathtub and custom walk-in closet. An oversized laundry room provides great storage. A custom-built bench with coat hooks and storage is in the entry from the garage. Traditional with a neutral color scheme is the main decorating style. Family heirlooms are sprinkled throughout the home including an antique rocking chair, dresser and sewing machine. Jayne Meyer has provided decorating assistance.
Dr. George and Roxanne Bascom
417 West 21st Street
Built in 1920, this 104-year-old, 4,900 square foot brick bungalow sits in the beautiful Pioneer Park Neighborhood. Its emphasis on natural elements is reflected in its brick and stucco materials. The home has 4 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms. So many wonderful features are throughout the home, including Barrister bookshelves in the den, 10’ ceilings and crown molding in the living room, dining room and den, built-in ice box, dumb waiter, butler’s pantry, French doors with beveled glass and original wood floors, just to mention a few! The home’s décor uses typical bungalow color tones with reproduction Craftsman furnishings. Unique tile work was used on the kitchen floor and in the bathrooms. The pedestal sink and bathtub in the main bathroom, as well as the upstairs bathtub, are original to the home. Green Depression Glass dishes in the dining room hutch once belonged to Roxanne’s parents, who were married in 1947. Christmas décor is traditional with a Santa collection in the living room and a snowman collection in the den. Decorating assistance was provided by Sure Cure Gift Shop and the Indigo Bungalow.

This unique home in northwest Kearney was built in 1975 and has 4,200 square feet coving two levels. The 4 bedroom, 3-1/2 bathroom house has a sunken living room, library on the main level and a smoking room on the lower level. Decorating is eclectic with neutral, calming, gray tones. Special pieces from grandparents and a great-grandmother’s Chintz are mixed with modern and classical furnishings. Christmas decorations are eclectic, beachy and special mementos from Beechner travels. Diva’s-Kearney Floral assisted with the decorating.
