Linda Muhlbach – Executive Director
Working with people has been the favorite component of life and work experience for Linda from the beginning. Growing up on a farm in western Nebraska where 4-H was a big part of her family’s life she developed an interest in working with others to benefit her community. That interest carried through and led her to a BS in Education and Family Resources from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and to 14 years of teaching in Nebraska schools, focusing on nutrition, child development, healthy families and elementary education. Her interest in financial health led her to get an MBA from the University of Nebraska – Kearney and to 10 years working with individuals in the area of finance. A motto she saw played out in both teaching and business was “healthy individuals lead to healthy families, which lead to healthy communities”. The best teacher for this lesson was raising her two daughters in the great community of Kearney, Nebraska. Linda’s husband, Dan, farms in Buffalo County. Linda’s Christian faith is a guiding light in her life and work. As Planning Team Leader for HelpCare Clinic Linda is excited to see the impact the clinic will have on the community and how it will allow many to be the “hands and feet of Jesus” as they serve others.
June Petersen – Patient Care Coordinator
June Petersen is the clinic staff nurse, hired as Patient Care Coordinator. She has been a nurse for over forty years, and has practiced in a variety of environments ranging from hospitals, home healthcare, nursing homes, to most recently, inpatient rehab. For nearly twenty-four years she and her husband, Eric, lived and worked as missionaries in Latin America and for some of that time assisted with medical outreach in under-served areas. She is grateful to be able to build on that experience, in her own community, and to also be able to use her Spanish-speaking skills regularly. She and Eric have a daughter and a son, both married and living in Nebraska. Her favorite hobby is spending time with their six grandchildren.
